DHAA Study Clubs: You asked… we listened!
DHAA Study Clubs are a great way to connect with local hygienists and oral health therapists, and contribute to your continuing professional development.
Members have been telling us that they would love to be able to create small local communities for learning and sharing experiences. The DHAA are now launching DHAA Study Club guidelines and education packs to help support members looking to start a club!
We have been piloting the DHAA Study Club guidelines and education packs with a group in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Here’s what they have to say:
“The study packs created by the DHAA are current, informative and well composed, with very useful and relevant resources.”Hayley Watson
“Discussing new techniques with others in the dental community is so beneficial, as well as discussing with those of varying experiences and ideas.”Keren Branch
How to get your DHAA Study Club up and running
Throughout the year, we will provide content (journal article, case, or webinar) and questions for the study club members, so that they can then get together to discuss.
Currently there are two packs available;
- Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation
- Silver Diamine Fluoride and Dementia
These are now available for you in the members area of the DHAA website. We welcome your comments and will continue to develop new packs based on feedback from study groups.
