Since World Oral Health Day falls on a Friday we are having an early celebration at our March Supper event on Wednesday the 18th of March 2020.
Doors open and registration : 6pm
Selection of hot and cold canapes, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks provided.
Our presentation by A/Professor Sharon Liberali and focus on changes to the infection control guidelines.
Given the recent concerns around the Coronavirus this brings to attention the need to ensure we are all up to date and adhering to the latest infection control guidelines.
A/Professor Liberali’s presentation will look at the updates in Infection Control Guidelines relating to our practice. And include updates to the National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare (2019) and the CDNA.
A/Professor Sharon Liberali
A/Professor Liberali completed her undergraduate dental degree at the University of Adelaide in 1986 and was awarded a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Special Needs Dentistry at the University of Adelaide in 2009. In 2010 she became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the special field of Special Needs Dentistry, in 2011 she was awarded a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD) and in 2013 a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. In December 2019 she completed a Masters of Science in Medicine, in Pain Management in the subspecialty of orofacial pain through the University of Sydney.
A/Professor Liberali is the Director and Senior Consultant of the Special Needs Unit, Adelaide Dental Hospital, SA Dental Service, the Program Convenor for Special Needs Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, University of Adelaide, the Principal Dentist at Health Partners Dental, and current Chair of the ADA Infection Control Committee.

DHAA Members – – To obtain the discounted DHAA Ltd Membership price you are required to be a financial member of the DHAA Ltd at the time of the event.
Student Members – Student Members must be an eligible and current student member of the DHAA Ltd at the time of the event. Student Membership expires June 30th following your graduation. Student Membership to the DHAA Ltd is Free.
ADOHTA Members – All ADOHTA members are required to show proof of membership to ADOHTA, please email [email protected] You are required to be a current member at the time of the event to either DHAA Ltd or ADOHTA inc.
Dietary Requirements – We will attempt to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please send through any restrictions to [email protected] at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy: 10 days notice must be given in writing to [email protected] , if you cannot attend, to receive a refund. Reimbursements will not be made after this time. Registration can be transferred to another person of the same membership status.
