DHAA WA – EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy Workshop
This exclusive CPD course will provide a lecture component followed by a hands on workshop focused on the latest concepts in biofilm removal, periodontal, and implant maintenance. Participants will be encouraged to develop their clinical knowledge and assessment skills; learning how to identify potential problems before they occur and increase patient comfort and clinical efficiency. The hands on workshop will build clinical know-how in using different techniques and give participants an opportunity to trial AIRFLOW® and PIEZON® ‘No Pain’ technologies on simulation models.

About the Speaker
Tabitha Acret is a qualified dental hygienist and has been part of the dental industry for 20 years. She has worked as a dental nurse, dental receptionist and practice manager. She holds a BOH from Newcastle University and is currently undertaking further studies in Sleep Medicine. Tabitha is registered with the Australian Dental board, was the previous chair for the NSW Dental Hygienist Associaltion Australia Ltd, and is the current NT Director for the DHAA Ltd . She is a regular at CPD events with a passion for learning and making a difference in her patients’ lives. Tabitha currently works 3 days a week in private practice, was a previous clinical educator one day a week at Sydney University for 2nd year BOH students until her recent move to the NT in Australia to help set up an implant maintenance program in private practice. She is an educator with the Swiss Dental Academy.

DHAA Members: To obtain the discounted DHAA Ltd Membership price you are required to be a financial member of the DHAA Ltd on the date of purchase.
Student Members: Student Members must be an eligible and current student member of the DHAA Ltd at the time of purchasing the ticket. DHAA Student Membership is free and expires on 30 June of the year following your graduation.
Cancellation Policy: 10 days notice must be given in writing to [email protected], if you cannot attend, to receive a refund. Reimbursements will not be made after this time. Registration can be transferred to another person of the same membership status.
