Come join us in Bali for the DHAA’s first International Conference! We are so excited to be able to hold a full day event in Indonesia this year providing 6 CPD hours to delegates.

Time: 8.30 registration 9am start – 4.40pm finish

Topic: Orthodontics for the periodontal patient
Derek Mahony is a Sydney based Specialist Orthodontist who has spoken to thousands of practitioners about the benefits of interceptive orthodontic treatment. Early in his career Dr Mahony learned from leading clinicians the dramatic effect functional appliance therapy can afford patients in orthodontic treatment. He has been combining the fixed and functional appliance approach ever since. His lectures are based on the positive impact such a combined treatment approach has had on his orthodontic results and the benefits this philosophy provides from a practice management viewpoint.

Associate Professor Deborah Cockrell
Conjoint Associate Professor Deb Cockrell is a Specialist Oral Surgeon who has worked in most sectors of dentistry. Deb was Associate Dean at the University of Sydney before becoming the inaugural Head of Discipline of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle. Deb was President of the ADA NSW from 2013 to 2015 and is currently President of the Australian Dental Council. She has held positions with the DBA, the Dental Council of NSW and Huntingtons NSW.

Dr Deborah Cockrell has kindly offered her services for one on one mentoring session on the Friday. It is limited to 6 spots and times will be allocated closer to the date. These sessions are free. The session is to discuss what goals you have for your career, or to set them.

DHAA Members: To obtain the discounted DHAA Ltd Membership price you are required to be a financial member of the DHAA Ltd on the date of purchase.
Student Members: Student Members must be an eligible and current student member of the DHAA Ltd at the time of purchasing the ticket. DHAA Student Membership is free and expires on 30 June of the year following your graduation.
Cancellation Policy: 10 days notice must be given in writing to [email protected], if you cannot attend, to receive a refund. Reimbursements will not be made after this time. Registration can be transferred to another person of the same membership status.
