Dr Adam Rosenberg
Dr Adam Rosenberg graduated with a BDS from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and obtained his Masters Degree in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina, USA in 2002.
Adam has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on topics relating to both surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease; implantology and bone and soft tissue grafting techniques to enhance aesthetic outcomes. Adam is interested in the non-surgical conservative approach in treating patients with periodontal disease and is currently utilising the perioscope which allows treatment of in a minimally invasive way. Adam is in full-time private periodontal practice in and is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne Dental School.
Dr Jessica Wei – BDSc (Hons), FRACDS (GDP)
Dr Jessica Wei studied dentistry at the University of Melbourne and during her early years as a dentist, worked in private practices in Geelong and Cairns before finally returning to Melbourne in 2009. Since then she has been constantly involved in the teaching of dental students at the University of Melbourne as a clinical demonstrator and supervisor. Ever since graduating as a dentist, Jess has continued to further herself as a practitioner, completing her Fellowship in General Dental Practice, before embarking on her road to becoming a Periodontist at the University of Melbourne in 2014.
Jess is interested in the conservative nonsurgical management of periodontal disease and strives to make the dental experience as painless and enjoyable as possible for all patients. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
In her spare time, Jess enjoys travelling, baking sweets and treats and creating pieces of cross-stitch art.
Roisin McGrath – DipDH DipDT GradCertIntlHlth MPH
Roisin is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the Melbourne Dental School (University of Melbourne) and her project aims to build capacity of community mental health workers to promote oral health for people living with severe mental illness. Roisin has over 25 years of experience in the oral health field and has worked as a clinician in a range of settings, in both the UK and Australia. She has taught at the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and RMIT.
She has held non-clinical positions in health promotion at Dental Health Services Victoria and in outreach/volunteer dental program management with the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria. Recently, Roisin was part of the Melbourne Dental School team responsible for developing the national key performance indicators to monitor oral health in Australia. Roisin is a former President of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Victorian Branch and is still actively involved in the DHAA Vic committee.
Ian Epondulan – BOH
Ian is an Oral Health Therapist and completed a Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) degree from The University of Sydney in 2011. He volunteers for the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA) Ltd. as NSW Director and has had clinical experience in Public Health Dentistry at NSW Health. Currently undertaking a Master of Public Health (MPH) at The University of Sydney he is passionate about Health Promotion and Health Advocacy especially amongst adolescents linking Oral Health with General Health. He is an Educator for the Students As LifeStyle Activists (SALSA) Program which aims to empower high school students to live healthier lives through healthy eating and physical activity.
