The DHAA received a number of high quality applications this year, and are please to support three members in running their community oral health projects.

Jack Angove, NSW
Dental Longevity Project, aiming at improving the level of oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours of residential care workers, and increasing awareness of their expanding role in oral hygiene care delivery for dependent residents residing in residential care facilities.

Cathy Vaughan, Qld
Big Smiles in the Park, which will provide an opportunity for local community engagement on oral health issues for Oral Health Staff focusing on the zero to five-year-old age group, their parents and carers.

Jinky Marsh, NSW
Community dental health week promotion, a week-long oral health promotion project which strives to keep the various members of the community informed about the importance of oral health in general well-being especially during this Dental Health Week.
