Dental Health Week Webinar - Understanding Fluoride Varnish

Back by popular demand we are rerunning the popular webinar discussing fluoride varnish.

After selling out this webinar earlier in the year we are bringing Cathryn back to present on this exciting topic for a second time. And this time we have allowed extra time for questions.

Fluoride varnish was developed in Germany in 1964 and since then it has been used around the world as a gold standard in professionally applied fluoride treatments for caries prevention in all age groups.

The evidence base for the safety and efficacy of fluoride varnish is compelling and professionally applied 5% sodium fluoride varnish remains one of the cornerstones of preventive dentistry.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Enhance your knowledge of fluoride varnish’s mode of action
  • Understand the safety and efficacy of fluoride varnish for caries prevention
  • Review the latest Australian guidelines governing fluoride varnish use
  • Explore the windows of opportunity for caries prevention for children, adolescents and adults
  • Discuss the clinical considerations for applying fluoride varnish

Note: This webinar will not be recorded so live attendance is a must!
