Join us for a 1 hour online webinar looking at risk management in your clinical practice.

 

Risk management play a critical role in every successful practice. Implementing an effective process that improves the quality and safe delivery of healthcare is possible by introducing proven systems that identify and prevent circumstances that put patients and staff safety at risk. 

Module Topics: 

  • What are the appropriate tools for successful risk detection? 
  • What are the modifiable & non modifiable risk factors?

  • Utilisation of appropriate diagnostic intervention resources
  • Being able to identify local & systemic risk factors

DHAA Members: Webinar registration is free for all categories of DHAA membership. 
Non members: registration is available for non members at a cost of $20 per attendee.

Presenter: Jane Rossi

Jane Rossi is an oral health senior lecturer and scientific liaison. She has worked as a program leader and convenor of the Advanced Diploma or Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) at TAFE SA. She has help a lecturing position at he University of Adelaide (Bachelor of Oral Health) co-ordinating Clinical Practice and Dental Health Science and lecturing in Human Biology. 

Jane has been a member on three Bachelor of Oral Health accreditation teams for the Australian Dental Council and has represented the Australian Dental Hygienists Association as state and national president. She has worked on many professional committees in the pursuance of oral health curriculum, education and training and industry business. Jane is a registered Dental Hygienist and has the following professional qualifications: Dental Hygiene, Degree in Adult and Vocational Education, Diploma in Management and Training and Assessment.
