The presentation will provide an overview of how sleep apnoea can affect a patient's health and what clinical criteria can we use to help determine if our patient has a sleep disordered breathing issue and discuss the value of dental devices we can recommend to help treat our patients.

Associate Professor Michael Stubbs
Oral Medicine Specialist
A/Professor Michael Stubbs is Academic Lead at Latrobe University, Rural Dental School, in the field of Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine. Michael has spoken at numerous dental forums in the areas of Oral Medicine which includes Temporomandibular Disorders and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Most recently he has written two chapters in the Oral Medicine Textbook: Oral Medicine: A Clinical Guideline on sleep apnoea and its treatment released February 2024.
