Speaker Biographies:

Christine May

BDS(Hons) USyd BHSc(TCM) UTS Integrative dentist and teledentistry platform founder

Early career curiosity and personal health issues led me to investigate medical paradigms beyond the mainstream. Studies in: integrative nutrition, naturopathy, yoga, massage and a degree in Chinese Medicine have satisfied my mind, changed my lifestyle and improved my health greatly and sustainably. My philosophy and practice of dentistry has evolved to be very mouth-body connected.

A mid-career itch led me to explore products, tech and the startup world. After a few experiments, plenty of thinking while riding my Vespa, doing yoga or cooking up a storm, (mostly) enjoying the fascination and challenges of a steeeeep learning curve, in 2019 ViDe Virtual Dental was born and continues to evolve in a pandemic-world.

I’ve written articles and been interviewed in industry and mainstream media, been a university clinical dental educator and given numerous lectures to the profession on integrative dentistry and teledentistry.
