Webinar - Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Information Session

Join us for a 1 hour online information session for Mental Health First Aid Training.

A national survey of dental practitioners in late 2021 found high levels of depression, anxiety, burnout, psychological distress and suicidal ideation - at levels much higher than the general community and comparable health professions. For example, 1 in 6 dental practitioners reported thoughts of suicide in the prior 12 months. There is a need to improve wellbeing and mental health for all members of the dental team.

The DHAA will be offering online MHFA training to members, commencing in August 2023. This interactive session will provide information on the purpose and details of MHFA trainings. It will also provide an opportunity for members to ask questions and discuss their needs and capacity to take part in the training program.
