Our day will start at 9am with Dr Paul Sambrook from the leading international Dental Surgeon, presenting on virtual planning of dental treatments. He will follow on with a thorough update on the latest developments in pain management, bleeding control and medication.
Shamus Breen the Managing Director from DHAA's Indemnity Provider BMS Group will cover the in's and out's of record keeping to help us preventatively protect ourselves should ever experience a claim relating to our indemnity insurance.
For those who are looking to relax and unwind after long days of clinical work, Sabine Toh will be drawing on both western and eastern science to present a hands on scientific approach to self care and awareness.
Lastly to finish off a long day of learning from 4pm, celebrity winemaker David O’Leary giving us some tips to appreciate the great South Australian wines.

Dr Paul Sambrook

Dr Paul Sambrook is Head of Discipline Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) Faculty of Health Sciences, The University of Adelaide and Head of Unit Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and South Australian Dental Service. Dr Sambrook is a council member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, is currently Vice President of the International Board for the Certificate of Specialists in OMS and was past President of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr Sambrook is the Director of Training for oral and maxillofacial surgery for South Australia.
Sabine Toh
Sabine has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry/ Immunology and is currently doing a PhD in sleep research in the context of how breathing affects our autonomic nervous system and hence sleep onset and duration.
She is drawing on her 20-year experience as a yogi and yoga & world-wide meditation teacher. Additionally, Sabine is a hypnotherapist and master practitioner of neuro linguistic programming (NLP).
She draws on both Western and Eastern science and helps people at retreats, seminars & private sessions to find greater balance in life through release of trauma/stress/ old belief patterns and she teaches women in particular how to be empowered, how to regain balance, psychologically and physiologically using NLP, hypnosis, breathwork, meditation, mindset techniques personally tailored for ease and lifestyle fit.
This can lead to better digestion, sleep, weight management and an overall increase in energy and joy in life. In her seminars you'll learn about epigenetics, neuro-plasticity and how we self-hypnotize - and how to start affecting & directing these according to your will.
Sabine is a mother of 3 and highly experienced at reaching audiences from all walks of life, making sessions joyful and educational, with many tools to take away and enjoy thereafter.
