Speaker Biographies



Aneta Zielinski

Oral Health Therapist 

Aneta Zielinski graduated from The University of Queensland in 2002 with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Oral Health). She has worked in a variety of dental settings including rural practice, general practice, special need and aged care. For well over a decade she has worked in periodontal and prosthodontic practices. Aneta has a strong focus on patient education, prevention and non-surgical periodontal and peri-implant therapy. She is actively involved in the mentoring of colleagues and has been part of a team which implemented and evaluated a smoking cessation intervention protocol at the University of Queensland. She has been I involved in FDI Panel workshops and advisory panels.

She is a past Chair and Secretary of the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia (QLD Branch) and an advisor to the DHAA Covid-19 Advisory Taskforce. Additionally, Aneta is a past Secretary and current Treasurer of the Australian Society of Periodontics. She is both an enthusiastic host of study clubs and CPD events as well as having lectured and written for Dental Hygiene publications.
