Industry Partnerships Officer 

Shida's love for the dental field started as a dental nurse, she then studied her Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Hygiene at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2011. She returned to study completing the Oral Health Therapy components finishing in 2018. She has a passion for preventive health and oral health promotion. Along with working in the clinical environment at a private practice as the only Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist, she is the Industry Partnership Officer. Her DHAA journey started in 2015 as a volunteer for the NSW local committee. She became the Industry Partnership Officer soon after. In this role, she manages the relationship between the generous industry partners and sponsorship of all state based events, media and national symposiums.
