Presenter: Dr Wang Lai (Lizzy) Hui
BDS (OtagoU, NZ), MScMed (Pain Management, USyd), DClinDent (Perio, GriffithU), MRACDS (Perio)
Dr. Lizzy Hui has a vast experience in private practice being a dentist for 9 years across different areas of both regional and metropolitan in NSW, QLD and WA. Lizzy managed to enrol herself and completed a Master of Medical Science in Pain Management from the University of Sydney under the radar of her already busy full-time work in 2013, this has laid the fundamental platform for her reputably extra gentle care and pain/ anxiety management for those extra sensitive patients.
An important time point of her career path is when Lizzy decided to take her profession to a higher level and pursue further Specialty training in Periodontics and Implantology. Dr. Hui has been teaching as a clinical supervisor for the dental program at the Griffith University, preparing the new generation of dentists to join the profession while
completing her postgraduate training. She has now attained her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics from the Griffith University.
While all aspects of Periodontics and Implantology are practised, Lizzy's favourite area lies within crown lengthening surgery and mucogingival surgery. In short, she loves pursuing aesthetics and beauty. Moreover, during her time of Specialist training, she was the only person managing all the children and teenagers' surgical exposures at the University; owing to her competence in children's surgical management. We are very much delighted to have her in joining our practice and look forward to delivering special care to our mutual patients.
