Are your qualifications in order?

To be a practising dental hygienist or oral health therapist you must have the latest qualifications or you are in danger of breaking the law. We have compiled a directory of training courses to help you keep yours in order.

Find a training course near you

Before you find a course it's worth checking that you qualify to work as a dental practitioner in Australia;

  • You need to apply for and be registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
  • You may also need to apply for a visa issued by the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (Australian Immigration Department).
  • Applicants and registered practitioners may need to apply for an international criminal history check from an approved supplier.
For further information we recommend you to visit the Dental Board of Australia website.
