Objective:
To provide oral health students with relevant leadership skills to exert influence and control in themselves, their peers and their environment towards a positive and productive future supported by lifelong learning.
The program is designed to provide foundation understanding of aspects of leadership in order to stimulate participants’ interest to observe and experiment through their daily activities at the university and/or their work place. Participants may seek further trainings in leadership and management later in their career and build on exisiting knowledge and skills.
The program will enable participants to:
- Describe and apply an ethical and values driven framework that drives thinking and practice towards a respectful and equal society.
- Understand and exercise effective communication to achieve results.
- Gain insight into building resilience and overcome obstacles.
These webinars are also suitable for early career practitioners.
4 webinar modules will be presented with 2 topics covered in each webinar. The webinars will be recorded for future on-demand viewing for each module.
The modules will be presented in the months of May, June, July and August.
