SA - Christmas Brunch

SA - Christmas Brunch
Join us for our annual Christmas Brunch!

Our brunch this year will be hosted at Ayers House in the Adelaide CBD.

Topic:

Our speaker will be Dr Michael Eaton, the Head of the Breast/ Endocrine Unit at Flinders Medical Centre. His presentation will focus on the importance of breast screening and examinations as well as the pros and cons of screening tools such as ultrasounds and mammograms. He will discuss breast cancers and what our screening looks for as well as the subsequent treatment for breast cancers. He will finish off discussing the impacts this can have on our patients, including the impacts to bisphosphonate medications and jaw necrosis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about breast cancers and the importance of screening, not only for our own health and wellbeing but to foster a greater knowledge so we can care for and support our patients who may be undergoing their journey through breast cancer treatment.
